Welcome Weekend is designed to help you acclimate to Fisher. You’ll meet new friends as you learn about campus life, academic and behavioral expectations, campus support services, and all that Fisher has to offer.
Mark your calendar for August 30 - September 2.
Residential first-year students: get settled, pick up your room keys, and meet the other students on your floor and the Residential Life staff. Connect with your Orientation Leaders at the Orientation Kickoff.
Commuting first-year students: check in and pick up your ID cards at the Commuter Kickoff at 3 p.m.
All families and guests are invited to grab a sweet treat at the Family Farewell from 1-3 p.m. outside the Donald E. Bain Campus Center.
First-year students: learn important information about life as a Fisher student and spend time with your Orientation Group (classmates, folks in the same school or major, and other students from your building or commuting students).
Residential transfer students: move in, unpack, and spend time with your Orientation Group. Join the afternoon and evening activities to connect with all new students.
*Transfer students who are commuting are also welcome. Please let us know if you’ll be here by communicating with your Orientation Leader (whose contact information will be emailed to your Fisher email) or the Office of Student Engagement and Leadership by emailing campuslife@sjf.edu.
First-year students: spend the time today with your first-year seminar instructors, peer mentors, and classmates.
